Terms & Conditions
Please ensure you have read the below terms and conditions upon booking a session with me.
By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions.
1. Deposit
The client’s session deposit secures their booking and is non-refundable. In the event that the client is unable to make a session, the deposit can be transferred to a new booking. In the unlikely event that the photographer needs to cancel or reschedule the session, the client has the option of transferring their deposit to their agreed rescheduled session, or opting for a deposit refund.
2. Cancellation The client is able to cancel up to 72hours before their session, or due to illness or injury up to 2hours before their scheduled session. Where the client does not ask to reschedule, the deposit paid at time of booking is forfeited. If the photographer needs to cancel, they will notify the client as soon as is practicable, and the client’s deposit can be transferred to a rescheduled session, or refunded.
WEATHER & POSTPONEMENT The photographer will decide on the day if the weather is not ideal to go ahead, in which case a postponement date will be agreed upon mutually
3. Change of date or time
If the client requests to change their session time/date, the photographer will try to accommodate this but cannot guarantee availability particularly for mini sessions. The client is able to change their session time once only, and forfeits their session deposit if they fail to turn up to their new session date/time.
4. Digital Images
Images provided in the client’s online gallery are the photographer’s final work. Should the client request any additional changes or alterations, this will incur additional charges. The client is not permitted to make any alterations to their images when posting on social media, including (but not limited to): applying filters, black and white, cropping and retouching. The photographer requests that the client refrains from posting any screenshot of images to social media as this greatly reduces the quality of the images and does not give an accurate representation of the photographer's work. Where the photographer does not retain the images for the purpose of use on social media or website, images will be deleted 30 days after a client has received their gallery. Therefore, the client is encouraged to download and backup their images in a second, secure digital location. The photographer is not responsible for loss or damage to the digital files due to circumstances beyond photographer’s control. Images are for the personal use of the client only. If any 3rd party wishes to use these images for commercial purposes, the photographer must be consulted and permission will be at the photographer's discretion.
COPYRIGHT of images is owned by Catriona Le Photography. The client is permitted to print and share images for their own personal use. The client does not have the right to revoke this consent. If the client wishes not to have their images used on social media please indicate this to photographer via email correspondence PRIOR to their session.
5. Failure to perform
If, in the unlikely event the photographer cannot perform any agreed services due to any cause beyond photographer's control including weather, illness, vehicle breakdown, camera or computer malfunction, data corruption, accidental deletion, the photographer will refund any monies paid however shall have no further liability.
